Mr. Mejia previously lived in Salinas and currently resided in Madera. He was employed with Vegetable Growers Supply in Salinas, having worked for over 20 years with the company. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Mejia of Madera; son, Tony Mejia of Madera; grandchildren, Tony Mejia Jr. of Madera, Christina Mejia of Madera, Leticia Sandoval of Salinas; great-grandchildren, Anyssa, Sabrina, Moses, and Tony III; sister Anastacia Magallon of Salinas; brothers John (Ethel) Mejia of Pahrump Nevada, Charles (Wanda) Mejia of Kerman, Nicholas Mejia of Salinas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends. He is preceded in death by; parents Emilio and Edna Mejia; and a brother, Antonio Mejia.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
