Jessica Seery Barnard
July 23rd, 1985 - May 1st, 2018
Obituary Jessica Pearl Barnard was born at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins on July 23, 1985 to Marlena Beth Derr and Donald Wayne Seery Jr. and passed peacefully at the age of 32 on May 1, 2018 with her family beside her in Beaufort, South Carolina. She attended Loveland High School and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2003. Jessica was active in her church youth group which included a mission trip to Ecuador where she met her Compassion sponsored child. After attending Front Range Community College, she went on to graduate from Southwestern College in AZ with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing in 2005. Jessica enjoyed traveling and considered Hawaii one of her favorite destinations where she lived for three years. On August 27, 2013 Jessica and Jay Charlton Barnard were married in San Diego, California. Besides her love for the Denver Broncos and CSU Rams, her kitties, Manning and Jordan where Jessica's joy. Jessica is survived by her loving husband, Jay Barnard; parents Marlena (Gary) Derr and Donn Seery; step-son Jonathon Jay Barnard of Missouri; brother, Kyle Seery; grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather Donald Seery Sr. (Popo) and grandparents, Bill and Galeen Rice. Contributions may be made to Clearwater Church (memo: In Loving Memory of Jessica) in care of Vessey Funeral Service. A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 8 from 11:30 AM - 1:15PM followed by a Celebration of Life at Clearwater Church located at 2700 South Lemay Ave., Fort Collins. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery at 4 PM, located at 2728 East Mulberry, Fort Collins.
