Satpal Kaur Johl

Satpal Kaur Johl, 74, passed away on May 5, 2016 at her home in Roseville, CA surrounded by her loving and caring family. Satpal was born on July 28, 1941 in Ratainda, India to Kishan Singh and Naseeb Kaur Gosal. She emigrated to Yuba City, CA in 1972. Satpal was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She always put her family first and made many sacrifices to ensure her family was happy. Her family was her pride and joy and her legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren. Satpal was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Gurmeet Kaur Johal, brother-in-law Malkiat Singh Johal, and sister Surjit Kaur Sanghera. Satpal is survived by her loving and caring husband Surjit Singh Johl; her devoted children Baljit Singh and Pinder Kaur Johl of Roseville, Jaswinder Kaur and Jaskaran Singh Bains of Lincoln, Harinder Singh and Mandeep Kaur Johl of Roseville, brother and sister-in-law Satnam Singh and Parmjit Kaur Gosal of Reno, NV; and grandchildren Mandeep Kaur Johl, Jasmeen Kaur Bains, Sureena Kaur Johl, Karnveer Singh Bains, Amisha Kaur Johl, and Jovan Singh Johl. Prayer and Cremation services will begin at 12:00pm at Ullrey Memorial Chapel located at 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, CA on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Langar and Bhog services will follow at the Sikh Temple Bogue Road located at 2269 Bogue Road, Yuba City, CA.
