Michael "Mickey" Davi

Michael "Mickey" also known as "Ahma" to her family passed away after a very short illness on November 20th. Michael Ann Jones was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to WWII Pilot Reidy Edward Jones and Ruth Margaret Biersach. She had two younger sisters, Dana and Tracy. They spent a lot of time on Pewaukee Lake, ice skating in the Winters and swimming in the Summers. Her Grandfather, Hugo "Papa" Biersach, had a wonderful lake home there. Papa helped raise her and had a huge impact on her life. Her Grandmother also had a huge impact and was known as "Ahma." When Mickey became a Grandmother, she preferred to be called "Ahma" in honor of her. She excelled in school as a youngster and earned a scholarship to Duke University, where she received a degree in Mathematics. Mickey also was an excellent athlete, participating in Field Hockey both in high school and at Duke. Shortly after College, she married Naval Officer Joe Newton Harris, whom she had met at Duke. In 1969, Mickey gave birth to her only child, Brandon Travis Harris. In 1978, Mickey moved to Monterey, CA and became involved in the real estate business, working as a manager for Founders Title Company and Old Republic Title Company. She was well known in the community as a very loyal, hard worker who always did a great job for her clients. In 1986 Mickey married Sebastian Davi who she was with until his passing just one month before her own. Mickey was an avid runner who finished many 10k races over the course of her lifetime. She also loved to sail, snow ski, travel and spend time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Brandon Harris, her daughter in law, Tiffany Harris and her granddaughters, Brianna, Victoria and Kyleigh Harris. She is also survived by her sister Dana Kaiser-Ausloos of Wisconsin and step-daughter Jaedra Davi-Luke. Mickey's sister Tracy preceded her in death back in 1979.
