Lucia Bua Robillard
June 8th, 1921 - August 31st, 2016
Lucia Bua Robillard, 95, of Yuba City, CA peacefully passed away on August 31, 2016. Lucia was a 50 year resident of the Yuba Sutter community. Lucia was married to U.S.A.F Mst. Sgt. Edgar Robillard, who preceded her in death. Lucia Robillard was born in Italy before immigrating to the United States where she met and married her husband in New York. After moving to Yuba City, Lucia owned and operated the interior decorating business "Interiors by Lucia" and, with her husband, owned and operated "The Gathering" restaurant at the Hillcrest Plaza in Yuba City. In retirement, Lucia enjoyed continuing to work as an alterationist at the former Yuba City Gottschalks. Lucia leaves behind two sons: Douglas Robillard of Marysville and Everest (Jill) Robillard of Sacramento. Lucia also leaves behind many dear friends from the Yuba Sutter community she considered as family. Private graveside services will be held at the Sutter Cemetery on Friday, September 9, 2016, at 11:30 A.M.
