Guadalupe "Lupe" F. Cisneros, 87 of Visalia passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010. Lupe was born October 6, 1923 in Romita, GTO, Mexico. She lived most of life in Salinas and Castroville where she and her husband Joe raised her children and grandchildren. Lupe has lived in Visalia for the past five years. Lupe is survived by her children, Juanita (Michael Sr.) Mendoza, Sylvia Maldonado, Catalina "Cathy" (Israel) Alvarez, and Rudolph "Rudy Cisneros. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Craig) Barnes, Michael "Mikie", Samantha "Sammie", Christopher "Chris Mendoza, Fready, Mary, Maximiliano, Lauren, and Andrew Maldonado, Israel Anthony C., and Alyssa Katherine C. Alvarez, Jason and Eric Cisneros, Danny (Michelle) Rivera, and Great grandchildren, Adrian and Zachary "Zack" Barnes. Lupe is preceded in death by her husband, Catarino "Joe" Cisneros in October, 2005, a Daughter in law, Cathy Cisneros, and her parents, Jose and Maria Inez Fernandez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5 1-9pm Rosary recital 7pm 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass on Monday, Dec. 6 10am at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 11140 Preston St. in Castroville. Final Resting Place at Castroville District Cemetery in Moss Landing.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
