Ruby McFadden
July 28th, 1922 - December 8th, 2010
Ruby B. McFadden, 88, of Parker, AZ and former resident of Salinas, passed away December 8, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born July 28, 1922 in Richwood, TN. Ruby had lived in Richwood, TN from 1922 to 1940 and in Salinas, CA from 1940 to 1993, then had currently resided in Parker, AZ. Ruby enjoyed being a homemaker; she was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her Son, Dave McFadden of Pacific Grove, CA, Daughter Lajauna McKenzie of Parker, AZ, seven Grandchildren, thirteen Great-Grandchildren, and two Great-Great-Grandchildren, and Sister Maxine King of Prairie Grove, AR. She is preceded in death by Husband Dewey T. McFadden, Brother Eagbert Lewis and Sister Norma Lewis. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 17 1pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. in Salinas. Final Resting Place at Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
