Brandon Michael Slater, 20, of Salinas, passed away unexpectedly December 23, 2010. He was born May 20, 1990 in Hollister, CA. Brandon was an active outdoor person. He loved to swim, snowboard, wake board, go camping and shooting, hiking and working on cars. He loved going fast no matter what he was doing. Brandon always had a warm smile for everyone he met, and had a genuine laugh. He was very caring and was always willing to go to great distances for others, at any given moment. Brandon's vitality touched and graced many lives and left the world a greater place. He graduated from Salinas High School in 2008, and was recently attending Monterey Peninsula College. He is survived by his Parents Ken and Patti Slater Sister Heather Slater Brothers Steven and Thomas Slater Maternal Grandparents Ken and Phyllis Teshima Paternal Grandmother Jane Slater Niece Jasmine Slater Nephew Andrew Slater Uncles Michael(MaryAnn)Teshima Gary Teshima Aunts Teri Teshima Elaine (David) Miller along with numerous Cousins and other loving relatives and friends Preceded in death by his Grandfather Earl Slater. Memorial Services will be held Thursday at 3pm Dec.30th at the Buddist Temple of Salinas 14 California St.
