Rose volunteered her time with voting and polling. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, readinga and completing puzzles. Rose especially enjoyed attending the Avina Family Reunions. She is survived by Daughters Linda Ochoa of Salinas Gloria Becerra of Lakeside Sons Angel Becerra of Lemoore Michael Cabrera of Salinas twelve Grandchildren six Great-Grandchildren Sisters Connie Lucy Virginia Eleanor Irene Brothers Albert Florencio Peter Richard John Robert Preceded in death by Brother Eddie Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 6 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. in Salinas. Funeral Services on Friday, Jan. 7 10am at the Healey Mortuary Chapel. Final Resting Place at Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
