Reginald Doucet Jr. was born on June 3, 1985 in Fort Ord, California. Reginald attended North Monterey County H.S., where he excelled in both academics and athletics. He graduated in 2003 from North Monterey County High. Reginald received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2006, from Middle Tennessee State University, where he played college football. Reginald lived in Playa Vista, Ca., and worked as a Personal Trainer and a Model. His plans where to return to Salinas, California to open an Athletic facility. Reginald’s life was abruptly ended on January 14, 2011. The viewing will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, Ca 93905. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday January 23, 2011 at North County High School, at The Forum, 13990 Castroville Blvd, Castroville, Ca 95012, at 2:00pm. Donations are being accepted for “The Reginald Doucet Jr. Memorial Fund” at the Union Bank of Prunedale located at: 8071 San Miguel Canyon Road Prunedale, CA 93907. Reginald has touched many lives, and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his community.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
