November 5th, 1930 - February 11th, 2011
Natalie Rodriguez Stogden, 80, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away February 11, 2011 at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. She was born November 5, 1930 in Holtville, CA. Natalie was a member of Madonna del Sasso Parish. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren, and was considered a "Mother" to all her friends. Natalia is survived by her life companion, Jose Carlos Ramos of Salinas, daughters, Lydia M. Borden of Salinas, Sandra Stogden Ruiz of Juneau, Alaska, Mary Magdalena Stogden of Salinas, and Veronica Rivera of Salinas. She leaves her grandchildren, Stacy, Angel, Rodney, Marisa, Holly, Daniel, Emiliano, and Rafael, and her nine great-grand children. Natalie is preceded in death by a son, Frank Stogden Jr., a grandson, Enrique Raul Ruiz, and her sisters, Josephine Molena and Aurora Moore. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 17 1-9pm Rosary 7pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Funeral Mass on Friday, Feb. 18 11am at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church 320 E. Laurel Dr. Salinas, CA 93906. Burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, Ca 93907.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
