Frances Elliott Nell

Obituary Frances Eliiott Nell,92, of Fort Collins, passed away on January 25, 2017. She was born to Edward Rayburn Elliott and Zelma Lea (Travis) on June 29, 1924, in Louisiana. She attended South Eastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. She married Roderick Nell in 1944 in Kentwood, LA. Together they raised their son James and their daughter Mary. She worked as a high-fashion model and she loved fashion and jewelry and always kept up with the latest trends. She was also an artist and a wonderful homemaker. She was an avid swimmer who loved sunshine. She spent time admiring nature, learning to shoot, and camping. She was a very involved grandmother, rarely missing sporting events and always bringing great snacks. She was preceded in death by her father Edward, mother Zelma, three sisters Caroline Kline, Clara Remelius, and Mary Elliott, and granddaughter Nadia E. Barghelame. She is survived by son James Elliott Nell of Ada, OK, daughter Mary Barghelame of Fort Collins, CO. Grandchildren Ali Barghelame, Yasamin Tarin, Julia Nell, and Liam Nell, and great-grandchildren Izak Barghelame, Lissette Tarin, Nadia M. Barghelame,and Aristo Tarin.
