June 4th, 1935 - September 6th, 2016
Obituary Kenneth Ray Knapp, 81, of Loveland, CO, died at his home on September 6, 2016 after an extended illness. Ken was born on June 04, 1935 in Sidney, Nebraska to Ray and Alice Knapp. He married Anita E. Harmon on December 09, 1978 in Las Vegas Nevada. Ken and Anita made their home in Sidney where Ken worked for the city of Sidney, in the oil fields and as a farmer. After residing in Owatonna, Minnesota, and Sidney, NE, the Knapp's came to Loveland. He enjoyed coin collecting, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, sister Donna Sanford and brother-in-laws Cliff Sanford and Charles Wilson. Survivors include his wife Anita, daughter Michele (Robert) Sandoval and Grandchildren Heather (Shane) Sullivan, Steven Pursley, and Krystal Sandoval; Great-grandchildren Tynan Sullivan, Isaiah Ferris, Hallie Sullivan, Kylie Pursley, Chelsey Sandoval, Christian Crites, Cloey Crites, and Jameson Everts. Sisters Maxine D. Wilson, Shirley Henkle and Brother Ron Knapp. A memorial service will be held on September 17, 2016 at the Loveland American Legion Post at 10:00 AM.
