Betty Jane Rein

Obituary Betty Rein, 85, a native of the Fort Collins area passed away on Saturday, August 27 at Center Avenue Health and Rehabilitation facility in Fort Collins. Betty was born on January 01, 1931 to George and Kathryn Maul in Timnath, Colorado. She graduated from Timnath High School and married the love of her life, Alvin Rein, on January 29, 1950 at the Plymouth Congregational Church. Betty and Alvin farmed in the Fort Collins area for many years and enjoyed their retirement years living at Southridge Greens. Betty loved cooking, gardening, and taking care of her home. She and Alvin were long time members of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin, her brothers Harold and Glenn Maul, and her sister Geraldine Flohr. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Gen Maul and Roene Peil, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews and their children. A service will be held at LifePoint Church, 900 East Prospect Rd. at 11:00am on Thursday, September 01, 2016. Burial will be at 1:00pm, Roselawn Cemetery.
