Robert DeLappe
March 9th, 1924
Bob served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1941-1947. After serving, the Military, he retired after 35 years of dedicated service from Civil Services at Fort Ford. Bob enjoyed fishing an gambling. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and his dog. He is survived by wife Janet DeLappe of Salinas daughter Nancy and Ray Barrs of Salinas sons Robert Michael and Cyndi DeLappe of Montana Daniel Patrick and Leah DeLappe of Salinas grandchildren Joshua Barrs, Crystal DeLappe, Mike DeLappe, Jamie Gibson, Ian Mahar numerous great-grandchildren brothers George DeLappe of San Jose Joe and Ginny DeLappe of Jackson Roy and Jean DeLappe of Pioneer pet dog and companion Kiyo No services will be held Cremation to take place

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
