Paul J. Coelho Sr.
September 29th, 1945 - January 19th, 2019
Paul J. Coelho, Sr., passed away peacefully on January 19, 2019, at the age of 73. He was born on September 29, 1945, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Joseph L. and Evelyn S. Coelho. He attended school in Santa Clara, CA, graduating from Santa Clara High School. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and served for 4 years during the Vietnam War as a Radarman. Paul also belonged to the American Legion, Post 42. He was the Director at Twin Cities Rod and Gun Club and spent many good times there. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Lynda Coelho; daughter, Shawn (Michael) Hall; son, Paul, Jr. (Sherry); 3 grandchildren; special and lifetime friends, Richard Giuffrida and Jim Riparbelli of San Jose, CA; and dear friend, Ray Bertelsen of Yuba City. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Coelho; and 3 infant brothers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019, at 2 p.m., at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., in Yuba City. Donations may be made in Paul's name to the American Legion, Post 42, or the Twin Cities Rod and Gun Club. Ullrey Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
