Hazel Silacci Sabbatini

Hazel Silacci Sabbatini, of Yuba City, California, 96, passed October 21, 2018. She is resting in peace. She was born on July 14, 1922, to Rosina and Peter Silacci, grew up in Campbell, CA, and graduated from Campbell High School in 1941. Hazel was a loving mother of three children, Carol, Dennis and Janis; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She had one brother, Arthur; and two sisters, Eva and Florence. She was a wonderful homemaker and master in cooking and baking, and involved in many social activities. Hazel was retired from the Campbell Union School Dist. Food Service, was a passionate ball room dancer, loved to play bridge, and enjoyed her playing partners. She was an active member in the Marysville Art Club, board member, Kitchen Chair and member of the Chapter of the Yuba City Moose Lodge. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Isadore's Catholic Church, located at 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City, CA 95991.
