RICHARD MACIAS Richard Macias, 82, of Chico, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 17, 2014. Richard was born in Ventura, California. He served for the Air Force during the Korean War. After the war, he returned to Ventura where he worked as a longshoreman until he retired 38 years later. After his retirement, Richard moved to Chico, CA. He is survived by his sister Rachel Latham, brother "Poppy" Macias; his daughters Angelina Faith Macias, Tammy Peralta, and Lauri Ballon; his grandchildren Tara Johnson, Michael Huddleson, Brandon Huddleson, and Ciara Ballon; and his great grandchildren Annabelle Forcier and Gabrielle Lea Huddleson. Richard is now reunited with the love of his life, Linda Macias.
