Richard Chacon, Jr., 32 of Salinas, passed away on Friday September 28, 2012. Born July 21, 1980; he was a resident of Salinas and was a graduate of Alisal High School in 1998 as well as graduating from Carrington College of San Jose in 2010 as a Certified Surgical Technician. Richard enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces and was proud to be "Nino" to Isaiah, Josiah, Katrina, Victoria and Jessica. They looked forward to their walks with him. He was also an assistant coach with Josiah's sports. Richard also loved spending time with his family at bbq's, bonfires, family vacations, attending graduations and all holidays. He worked-out almost every day and loved to run. "You will be forvever missed and we all love you!" He is survived by his mother, Nancy Chacon of Salinas sisters, Lisa (Sesar) Sanchez of Henderson, Nevada Rachel (Peter) Ruiz of Salinas and Lupe Chacon of Salinas nephews, Jose, Isaiah and Josiah nieces, Katrina, Victoria and Jessica and his beloved girlfriend, Adriana Celaya He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Chacon, Sr. in 2010 Visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012, from 3 to 9 p.m.; with a Rosary recital at 6 p.m., all at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10 a.m., at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church, 320 E. Laurel Drive, Salinas, CA 93906. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Chacon, Sr. in 2010. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 3-9pm with a Rosary recital 6pm all at the Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 5, 2012 10am at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church 320 E. Laurel Drive Salinas, CA 93906. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.
