KENNETH BARKER Chico resident Kenneth Allen Barker "Kenny", 38, lost his battle with cancer November 21, 2014 at Enloe Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 29, 2014 at Brusie Funeral Home located at 626 Broadway, Chico, Ca 95928 with viewing and visitation from 12:00pm to 3:00pm with Services starting at 3:00pm. Kenny was born August 21, 1976 at Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA. He attended Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, CA. Kenny was a free spirit, full of love and life. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and quads, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He loved the sun on his face and the wind on his back. He could sit on the beach and watch the waves hit the shore for hours and be at peace with the world. Kenny married Ashley Bartlett-Barker, the love of his life on February 17, 2010. Together they built a beautiful life, they shared love, friendship and two beautiful children, a daughter Devyn Barker and a son Deegan Barker. Kenny lived for his wife and children. He loved his family more than anything. Kenny was a skilled carpenter, he was creative and passionate about the things he built. Kenny was loved by so many and will be deeply missed. Kenny is survived by his wife Ashley Bartlett-Barker, daughter Devyn Barker, son Deegan Barker, mother Ina Hutchens, father Ken Barker, step mother Ginger Barker, sisters Angela Barker, Leeann Chambers, and Kristen Chambers, brothers Brandon Chambers, Ron Chambers, Danny Barker, and Shawn Barker, grandmother Maryann Crews and Elaine Chambers, grandfather Bob Chambers, as well as many uncles, great-uncles, aunts, great-aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Kenny was proceeded in death by his Grandfather Bob Barker, Grandmother Rita Barker, step-father Ron Chambers, brother in-law Austin Bartlett.
