SHARYN MARIE QUIGGLE SEYMOUR A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 26 at 1:30 pm at Chico Cemetery. Sharyn Marie Quiggle Seymour passed away peacefully on January 18, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Sharyn was born February 24, 1931 to Albert and Anna Quiggle in Chico, California. Sharyn grew up on E. 8th Avenue where she had many fond memories. She graduated from Chico High School in 1948 and Chico State University in 1952. During college she was involved in many student activities, decorated windows at Oser's and was a member of Alpha Chi Sorority. In 1950 she married Richard C. Seymour. After graduation she became an elementary school teacher at Sierra View. In 1964 the Seymour family moved to Dallas, Texas where Richard and Sharyn started a decorative gifts and accessories business at the Dallas Trade Mart named Richard C. Seymour and Associates. She accomplished success as a Real Estate Broker at Henry S. Miller Company. She briefly lived in Northridge, Ca where she loved to attend Dodgers Games. Sharyn enjoyed and excelled at many hobbies. She designed and sewed beautiful clothes and was quite a fashion icon with her movie star good looks. Sharyn created many arts and crafts. Sharyn was a great cook and always made tasty meals for her family. Sharyn loved animals and spoiled all of her pets. She enjoyed traveling which included trips to Egypt and Israel. Sharyn was preceded in death by her parents, sister Thelma Brown, brother Robert "Bob" Quiggle and son, Richard J. Seymour. Sharyn is survived by her daughter Julie Seymour of Chicago, Illinois; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Teresa Seymour of Murphy, Texas and son and daughter-in-law Clark and Dianna Seymour of Plano, Texas, brother Burt Quiggle of Chico, CA, many nieces and nephews and their families to numerous to mention, and her lifelong best friend Shirley Rice of Chico, CA.
