Nanjean Bayer passed away on March 12, 2013 at her home in Salinas after a five year battle with liver cancer. Born in San Luis Obispo, she later graduated from San Jose State University and became a teacher, before settling down in Fresno, then Salinas. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great aunt, she is survived by Stanley Bayer, her husband of 57 years; their daughter Tamara Doyle and her husband William Doyle and their children Ryan and Rebekah; son Coburn Bayer and his wife Patricia and their son Derek; and Ross Bayer and his wife Lisa and their son Conner. She is also survived by her brother, Tom Holt and his family. Memorial services will be on March 23, 2013 at 11:00 at the Healey Mortuary, located at 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA.
