Randy De Witt
November 12th, 1977 - April 17th, 2009
Randy DeWitt, 31, of Salinas, passed away unexpectedly at the family home on April 17th, 2009. Randy is survived by his loving Mother, Lois Dewitt of Salinas, loving sister, Michelle Derrick (Steven) and adoring nieces Kaleena and Shannon of Plainfield, IL. , Aunts, uncles, numerous cousins of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and many loving friends. Randy was preceded in death by his loving Father, Franklin R. DeWitt and his adoring Nana, Barbara Matthews. Randy's favorite job was working for the schools, he loved working with children. He had helped students in the computer lab and had coached flag football and basketball. Randy had a passion for writing, he enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends.

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
