Larry Eugene Bullard
September 23rd, 1943 - May 29th, 2021
It is with great sadness to announce the death of Larry Eugene Bullard at the age of 77 on May 29,2021 at Rideout Hospital. Larry was born on September 12, 1943 in Yuba City to Loring L. Bullard and Evelyn Goetz Bullard, who preceded him in death. Larry graduated from Yuba City High in 1961, where he reached the rank of Sergeant in the school Cadet Corp Club. He graduated from Yuba College in 1963, and he joined the Army and served in Okinawa and Thailand from 1965 to 1968. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sargent and served in the Army Reserves from 1968 to 1970. He graduated from Fresno State College in 1972. In 1978, Larry managed his mother and his step-father's 7-11 on Butte House Road in Yuba City. In 1994, Larry went to work for Yolo County Social Services and retired there in 2009. To say he was a unique guy would be an understatement. He was quirky and full of love. He loved History and Genealogy, and telling stories, and was a jokester. He was preceded death by his parents, his step-father, Bill Bryan, his brother, Terry Bullard and brother-in-law, Edward Prothero, his maternal grandparents Tony and Mary Goetz and paternal grandparents, Chester and Verna Bullard, and numerous Aunts and Uncle.
