WILLIAM "BILL" STARR III A graveside service for William "Bill" Starr, 65 of Chico will be held on Friday May 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Rose Memorial Park in Ft. Bragg. Bill passed away on May 1, 2015 in Chico. He was born on June 8, 1949 in Hayward, Ca. to William and Verna Starr. He attended Cloverdale High school and Santa Rosa Community College. Bill worked for Food Machinery Corp. in San Jose, Ca. and Georgia Pacific in Fort Bragg, Ca. He married Christine Dunn Starr and went onto marry his second wife Roxanna Starr. Bill enjoyed fishing and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his daughter Charrish Silva, granddaughters Seyrai Colberg and Baylee DelCampo. Great -grandchildren Vanessa Francis and Benjamin Cortez all of Ft. Bragg, Ca. Sisters Carol Starr, Sherry Jaunrubenis, his Mother Verna Starr. He was an uncle to Scott Jaunrubenis and Amber Cornelius. Great -uncle to Audry, Laura, Stuart, Madeline, close friends Marie, Louis & Sherry. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 14 from 3-5 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Catholic Charities in care of the funeral home.
