RICHARD N. ALLDREDGE Richard was born in Chico, Calif., January 21, 1936 to Richard and Winnona Alldredge. He passed away May 27, 2015 in Chico, after a long fight with Alzheimer's. Leaving the love of his life, wife of 24 years, Kathleen Alldredge, who stayed beside and cared for him thru all his ups and downs. Richard had 5 children; Tom Alldredge (deceased), Tammy (Mike) Robinette, Terry D. Alldredge, Larry Alldredge (deceased), and Heather (Pat) Rau. Along with 2 step - sons, Chris (Melissa) Cardin and Charles (Connie) Cardin from his marriage to Kathleen. Richard started driving truck for Baldwin Contracting Co., Inc. in 1956. Where he eventually worked as general superintendent until he retired in 1996, only to return and work until 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising hunting dogs and traveling in his RV with Kathy and their friends. He loved to joke around and was a man of many riddles. He leaves 12 grandchildren; Tom Wilson, Seth and Matthew Alldredge, Bailey and Kinsey Rau, Brandon, Ashley, Brittany, Troy and Taylor Cardin, Kylie and Josh Young, and one great-grandson; Riker Young. One favorite sister in law; Charlene Jackson, and her husband Mike, whom he worked with under Hat Creek Construction, and many cousins. As well as longtime care giver, John Bates. A visitation will be held Tues., June 2nd from 5pm to 8pm at Brusie Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow Wednesday, June 3rd at 10am at Glen Oaks Memorial Park.
