Juan Manuel Alvarez Lopez

Juan Manuel Alvarez Lopez, 47, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on September 20, 2018 at his home in Salinas. He was born on February 4, 1971 in Mexico. Juan previously worked as a roofer for many years. Juan is survived by, His wife, Karina Alvarez son, Jessie Savinon and daughter, Lizzeth G. Alvarez perents, Carmen and Maria Guadalupe Alvarez sisters, Rosa, Mary, Christina, Carmen and Cecilia brothers, Cresencio and Jesus grandson, Xavier N. Savinon along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funera Mass will take place on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church 424 Towt St. Salinas, CA 93905. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
