Ronald Gene Creech
December 9th, 1933 - November 1st, 2018
Ronald Gene Creech, 84, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on November 1, 2018 in Salinas. He was born on December 9, 1933 in Hamilton, Ohio. Ronald had proudly served in the U.S. Navy for over 39 years, until his retirement. Ronald is survived by, his wife, Shirley Creech daughters, Tina (Mike) Ewing and Rhonda Shean sister, Betty Nadeau and sister in law, Jackie Van Lieu grandchildren, David, Steven, Kristopher, Matthew, Donnie, Justin, Tricia and Melanie along with 7 great-grandchildren whom also survive. He is preceded in death by, his son, David Creech, sisters, Margie Stiver and Josephine Ward and his brother, Donald Creech. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 1-9pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Services with Military Honors will take place on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 11am at Echos from Calvary Church 1025 Post Drive Salinas, CA 93906. Cremation to follow services. An Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at the California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery in Seaside, CA.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
