Jose "Raul" Gonzalez Hernandez
May 27th, 1941 - December 10th, 2018
Jose "Raul" Gonzalez Hernandez, 77, longtime resident of the Salinas valley, passed away on December 10, 2018 at his home in Gonzales. He was born on May 27, 1941 in Mexico. Raul previously worked in agriculture as a field worker for over 35 years. Raul is survived by, his wife, Carmen Sanchez Gonzalez daughter, Maria de Los Angeles Gonzalez sons, Jose Raul, Robert, Jose Rolando and Rene Gonzalez sisters, Maria Rodriguez, Sylvia Reyna, Gila Aguilar, Bertha Perales and Connie Porras brother, Domingo Hernandez grandhildren, Enrique, Victor, Nicole, Manuel, Marcus, Rolando, Jackie, Patricia, Rene Jr. and Richard, Michael, great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and XXzavier Diaz along with other loving family and friends. An Evening Prayer Service will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 7pm at the Iglesia Apostolica Church located at 405 7th St. Gonzales, CA 93926. Funera Services will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 11am at the Iglesia Apostolica Church. Burial to follow services at the Gonzales District Cemetery 101 S. Gonzales, Gonzales, CA 93926.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
