Louise Shulthise
August 17th, 1938 - January 22nd, 2022
Louise a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wonderful friend to many, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on January 22, 2022, with her loving husband Roger of 64 years, loving daughter Debra, and son Mark, by her side. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Shulthise, born January 18, 1961 and sadly passed away December 21, 2021. Louise was born August 17, 1938 at St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, CA. She was an only child. She attended catholic, private schools in San Francisco, graduating high school from Norte Dame Des Victoires June 1957. Louise married her soulmate and love of her life, Roger Shulthise, June 30, 1957, at St. Anne's Church of San Francisco. In 1958, they were blessed by their only daughter Debra, born at home and delivered by her father, Roger. Three years later in 1961, their second child Paul was born. Eight years later their third child Mark was born. Louise and her family left the San Francisco Bay Area in 1977, and moved north to Yuba City. Louise continued to be a homemaker, where her family and God were her passions. She reminded us daily to "Always say our prayers", all the way to the end of her life. Louise was very proud of her full blooded Italian heritage where Sunday dinners were a part of her Italian culture. Her mother and father instilled that tradition of family gatherings. Her father was an Italian Chef by occupation in San Francisco and Corte Madera restaurants. He cooked entire Italian meals for his family and friends on his only day off. Louise was influenced by her father's love of Italian traditions, and food was the glue that kept the strength of the Italian family traditions strong. Louise was always full of life, always giving of herself to her family and friends and possessed the gift of listening. Louise is survived by her loving husband, Roger; daughter, Debra; son, Mark; daughters-in-law, Sherry, and Laura; grandchildren, Sara, Ellen, Aimee, Marisa, and Bella; great-grandchildren, Evan, Allison, Adrian, and Aleah. We will be honoring Louise with a Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, 11 am. at Crossroads Community Church.
