February 7, 1941 - December 7, 2022 Floyd was born in Hood River, Oregon, to Gus and Alice Franz. He moved to Live Oak, California, and had 74 wonderful years there. Floyd was proud to be a member in good standing with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 340, for more than 50 years. Floyd enjoyed his house by the coast, traveling and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Linda, and his sons, Brian and Mathew, traveled many places including Oregon, Mexico, Hawaii and Europe. When he was home he watched every SF Giants, SF 49er and Sacramento Kings games. Floyd is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; his sons, Brian and Mathew; daughters-in-law, Kelly and Megan; his beloved granddaughters, Chelsea, Milla, Lola and Ava; in addition to nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also close with his sisters-in-law, Paula, Pricilla, Gloria, Dolores, Jessica, Ruthie and MaryHellen. Besides being a terrific father, grandfather, and cherished uncle, he was a friend to many, who will be truly missed. Rosary and interment will be private.
