Robert Milford Adams

Robert Milford Adams of Oroville, CA, went home to Jesus on August 9th, 2016. Bob was born on July 3rd, 1946 in Monett, MO. He celebrated his 70th birthday this year. Bob is survived by his beloved companion, Christine Rose Hartman of Oroville, CA. He was the loving father of two children; son, Jerry Adams and wife Susan of Live Oak, CA; daughter, Andrea Thompson and husband Tim of Olivehurst, CA, his dearly loved grandchildren Cassandra Thoryk, Madison Adams, Matthew Thompson and Claire Thompson. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wilson Adams and mother, Velma C. Adams, sister, Shirley Trolinger of Shawnee, OK, and brother Donald Adams of Linda, CA. He is survived by sisters, Barbara Moniz (Tom) of Sacramento, CA; Karen Walker (Norman) of Shawnee, OK; Mary Neves (David) of Roseville, CA; Catherine Buck (Fred) of North Highlands, CA; Valerie Richardson (Ken) of Murfreesboro, TN; and brothers, Dale Adams of Rocklin; and Steven Adams of Marysville. He has many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends. Bob was a Master Carpenter who did custom cabinet work, built furniture and was well known for his woodworking skills. He loved music, playing his guitar and loved restoring cars. He and Rose enjoyed many happy hours of dancing as their hobby. Bob loved to sit around a campfire and enjoy the solitude of the mountains. Bob formerly lived and worked in the Yuba-Sutter area and is well known there. Bob was his son, Jerry's Best Buddy and his daughter, Andrea's Wonderful Dad who had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Bob's life will be celebrated privately by his family. There will be no formal services per his family's request.
