Richard Wilburn Sinnott, 65, of Yuba City, passed away on November 15, 2015. He lived his entire life in the Yuba-Sutter area. Richard came from humble beginnings and always had a dream of being a business owner in the Yuba-Sutter area. With his father Dick Sinnott by his side, he did just that. He was a hard worker and wanted to make sure his family was taken care of. He was a race car driver at Triple M Speedway before becoming the owner of what is now called Marysville Raceway. His real pride and joy was his flea market. He was always making improvements and loved watching the Marysville Flea Market grow! Richard was always willing to donate or help out any local causes in his community. He had a passion for old cars and 1950's music. He and his wife Isabelle were avid dancers. Richard was an amazing husband, son, brother, friend and most of all the Best Father and Papa. His biggest joys in life was to spoil his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle Sinnott of Yuba City; daughters Neelie Rivas of Yuba City and Misty (James) Castleberry of Browns Valley; stepdaughter Ashley Raxter of Portland, OR; stepson Rory Larsen of Marysville; father Dick Sinnott of Browns Valley; sister Millie Jackson of Browns Valley; sister Shirley Howard of Browns Valley; brother Bobby Sinnott and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Sinnott. Services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Bob Burbach will officiate. Burial will follow at Sierra View Memorial, followed by a reception at Marysville Elk's Lodge at 3:00 pm.
