Robert "Bob" Knutson
September 20th, 1922 - June 12th, 2020
Robert "Bob" Knutson, 97, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 in Salinas. Bob was born September 20, 1922 in Thunder Hawk, SD. He has lived in Salinas for the past 68 years and worked as a Service Manager in television repair. Bob served proudly in the the U.S. Army. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping. Bob is survived by his daughter, Renae (Fred) Dreier, and his sons, Neal Knutson, Brian (Bev) Knutson, and Kevin (Kathy) Knutson. He also leaves a host of Grandchlildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Knutson. A memorial service will be held at the Healey Mortuary, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Inurnment rites will be held at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Salinas.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
