Ruby M. Crosgrove
November 4th, 1918 - April 11th, 2012
Ruby M. Crosgrove was born November 4, 1918, to Alfred and Lena Torgerson in White Earth, North Dakota. Ruby attended country school and graduated high school. She loved to read, loved to square dance, sew, and play bridge. She was married to John "Jack" C. Grosgrove on April 4, 1942, in San Francisco, California. "Jack" preceeded her in death on August 4, 1999. Together they raised 5 wonderful children. Ruby was a housewife, and owned an ice cream store. Ruby also worked at Canby Union High School cafeteria, and she sewed for Jantzen. Ruby belonged to St. Patrick's Parrish for 40 years and was an active member of VFW. Ruby is survived by daughters; Mary, Susan, Patty, and sons, Jim & Michael; Twelve (12) grandchildren and fourteen, (14) great granchildren, and one (1) great-great grandchild. There was a Memorial Mass on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at, 11:00 AM, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Canby, OR. Canby Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
