NICHOLAS BLEWETT Nicholas Bradley Blewett was an amazing person. He loved without limits and was everyone's best friend! His big smile could light up any room and turn a bad day into something unforgettable! Nicholas's laugh was contagious and you couldn't help but join along even if it was a mischievous one! He truly was one of a kind. He enjoyed listening to all different kinds of music and although often times he had headphones on, you knew what he was listening to.....the entire street knew what he was listening to! He would belt out the chorus at the top of his lungs. Other activities that brought him great fun included his giant swing set, his basketball hoop, a small kiddie pool in the shape of a tug boat and an entire play room often used just by him! Cartoons of all kinds often played on his TV and you could rerun Scooby Doo episodes all day without him seeming to mind! Nicholas had amazing relationships with all that crossed paths with him and usually involved a special handshake or nickname! He loved each of his siblings so very much and he would show it in his own unique ways! Nick loved animals of any kind but most of all his basset hound Louie. Nick's most very favorite thing in this world most of all was Halloween. His family went all out every year and often celebrated that event for well over the month of October. Often times Nick would start his Halloween count down right after Halloween had taken place! Nick was active in his special needs community in Chico, California and participated in the Special Olympics. On March 2nd, 2017, we lost our sweet boy, Nick to unknown medical complications. He was born on July 31, 1993 and was adopted when he was 3 weeks old by Tammie Blewett. On December 6th, 2006 Tammie died, leaving 7 kids with special needs in the care of her mother, Donna Blewett and her brother Rusty Blewett. In 2007, Donna and Rusty adopted the kids as their own to continue the work that Tammie started. The Blewett family would like you to remember Nicholas as the fun loving, gentle, kind and forgiving boy whose warmth and love was shared with his family, his friends and any others that may have crossed paths with him. He will be forever missed however never forgotten! Viewings will be held at Brusie Funeral Home located at 626 Broadway, Chico CA on Sunday March 26 from 1 to 3 pm and again on Monday March 27 from 4 to 7 pm. There will be a Celebration of Life held for Nicholas at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.brusiefh.com
