Henry Poffenberger, born on April 9th, 1920, a life-long resident of Yuba City, California, passed away at 4:10 AM Tuesday, February 24 at the age of 94, surrounded by his loving family. Henry was a graduate of Yuba City High School and Yuba College, and served as a Sergeant in the Army during World War II. His favorite sport was auto racing, and he was active in the local branch of Sons in Retirement (SIRS). Henry was married to his wife, the former Norma Olson, for 47 years. Henry is survived by his daughter Peggy Bellisario (Gene) of Yuba City, and his son Richard Poffenberger (Jean) of Foley, Alabama, his son Alan Poffenberger of Melbourne, FL, and his grandchildren; Brian Bellisario, Scott Bellisario, Ben Poffenberger, Jodi Poffenberger, Nicholas Poffenberger; and three great-children.
