Helen Ursula Broussard

Helen was born in San Francisco, CA, to Modesto and Jean Conte. She married the love of her life, Calvin Broussard on February 24, 1963. Survivors include her three children, Helene Andrade (John), Melanie Broussard- Zetwick (Ish), Calvin Broussard Jr. (Erika), six grandchildren; Destany, Desiree, John Jr., Sierra, Joseph and Viviana- all the apples of her eye and her furry four legged "son" Scruffy. She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Broussard. Helen moved to Yuba City in 1992 from the Bay Area. She was a past Queen Mum of Hat-A-Belle sisters Red Hat group. She belonged to Peaches Red Hat group, DOLS, Women of the Moose and Fremont Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a past president of Amici Club. She enjoyed being with family, friends and traveling. Helen graduated from St. Paul's High School in San Francisco and attended Healds College. She was employed at AT&T, Pitney-Bowes and her all time favorite "job" was being fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom to raise her children. Service information: (Monday, March 9, 2015) at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City, CA. Rosary at 11:00 a.m., Mass at 11:30 a.m. Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park Cemetery, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow
