Margaret Catherine Hahn
March 21st, 1925 - December 5th, 2020
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Catherine Hahn, on December 5, 2020. She was a loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched. Born to Phillip and Margaret Asprion in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, she left us at the age of 95. She is preceded in death by her husband of 77 years Alfred E. Hahn, her son, Alfred Eugene Hahn Jr., grandson, Charles Crow Jr, brother Phillip Asprion Jr., and sisters Rita Frey, Mae Rabenstein, and Dorothy Miller. She will forever be remembered by her surviving daughters and their husbands; Diane and Charles Crow, Emma Jean and Nick Araujo, Bonnie Jean and Garth Young, and daughter-in-law Diana Hahn. She will be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren; Cathy Gribas, Mary Papaleo, Nicole Blume, David, Charlie and Sharon Hahn, William and Gavan Young, and 19 great grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by her brother Joseph T. Asprion of Lakeside, California, and many loved nieces and nephews. Margaret, a military wife, traveled extensively to many countries and states with her husband and children. She loved traveling, crafts, trying her luck at bingo and casinos, and celebrating the holidays with a flourish. Christmas was always her favorite holiday and she leaves us with wonderful memories and traditions that we will always cherish. Margaret, retired from Federal Civil Service, led a full and active life. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star, dedicated many years of service to the Prunedale Senior Club, and for the past eight years resided at Sunrise Villa where she and her husband Al, served on boards and participated in the different activities and services offered. She was well loved and will be remembered for her cheerfulness, kindness to all, and her compassionate and caring nature. Margaret was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and instilled in them strong values that have served them well. She is loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Mom, your kind and loving memory will be carried with us forever.

We Entrusted Margaret Hahn's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
