Surjit Singh, age 76, of Yuba City, CA, passed away on June 28, 2014. Surjit was born on January 24, 1938 in Punjab, India. He was a farmer in India and later moved to the Yuba-Sutter area in 2008. Surjit is survived by his wife, Surinder Kaur; sisters, Harjit Kaur, Kuldeep Kaur and Rajwinder Kaur, brother- in-laws, Prem Parkash Singh (deceased), Malkit Singh and Baldev Singh; sons, Gursharanjit Singh, Karamvir Singh and Mandeep Singh, daughter-in-laws, Mohan Kaur, Tarsem Kaur and Manjinder Kaur; daughters, Gurkamalpreet Nijjar and Kulwinder Kaur, son-in laws, Harshwinder Nijjar and Gurjit Singh; grandchildren, Manpreet Uppal, Tanpreet Kaur, Manvir Kaur, Manpreet Nijjar, Karan Nijjar, Baldeep Singh, Dilpreet Kaur, Navdeep Kaur, Balkaran Singh, Manjot Uppal and Iqbal Uppal. Service will be held Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 10:00 am at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City. Prayer will follow at Tierra Buena Sikh Temple at 1:00 pm
