William "Bill" M. Hill
April 4th, 1951 - February 10th, 2024
William "Bill" M. Hill, passed away in the early morning on February 10, 2024, at Adventist Health Rideout Hospital. He was 72 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Bill was born on April 4, 1951. Bill is survived by his children, Kellie Rottman and her husband, Tim Rottman, Jennifer Hill and her fiance, Alvin Mattice and William A. Hill. He is loved and remembered by his grandchildren, Karley Rottman and William I. Hill. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Steve McKinley. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Hill; as well as parents, Harold and Sally Hill. Bill and Cindy were married on October 26, 1978, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They moved to the Yuba Sutter area and purchased property in Browns Valley, California, in 1980, where they raised their children. Bill was a fun spirited soul with a passion for animals and a passion to teach. Bill taught agriculture at multiple schools over his 35 years of teaching; Rosamond High School, Marysville High School and Lindhurst High School. He loved being an Agriculture Teacher and sharing his love and knowledge for animals with his students. He was active in the Yuba Sutter Fair by being a volunteer, FFA advisor and a 4-H leader. Bill enjoyed being out on the farm raising various types of livestock. Bill will be deeply missed.
