Enrique Canchola Magdaleno
December 7th, 1939 - July 3rd, 2021
Enrique Canchola Magdaleno Sr, 82, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 in Salinas. A lifelong resident of the Salinas Valley. Enrique was born in Noria de Barajas Penjamo, Mexico on December 7, 1939. He worked as a tractor driver for John Pryor. Enrique is survived by his wife of 63 years Elisa Magdaleno, his sons, Enrique (Estela), Alejandro (Ester), Armando (Norma), Rene (Veronika), Raul, his daughters Lupe Cardona (Jose), Teresa Magdaleno, and daughter- in- law Irma Magdaleno (Johnny-deceased). Enrique also leaves 25 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Enrique is preceded in death by his parents, Silvestre and Juanita Magdaleno, and his son Johnny Magdaleno. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 13,2021 from 1 - 5 PM at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas. A Rosary will be held at the Mortuary Chapel, Tuesday at 3:00pm A Funeral Mass will be held, Wednesday, July 14,2021 at 10:00am at Cristo Rey Church, 240 Calle Cebu, Salinas. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas. Reception to follow at Cristo Rey Hall.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
