Healey Mortuary
Lorene Laverne Robertson
January 23rd, 1923 - July 28th, 2021
Lorene L. Robertson was called to her Lord on July 28, 2021. She was 98 years old. Lorene was born near Hazel, Oklahoma to William A. Armstrong and Docie E. Armstrong. She graduated from High School as the class Salutatorian. She later met the love of her life, Greeley Robertson, and they were married just shy of 55 years. In 1952, they moved to Salinas to raise their 3 children. Lorene was very active with her church in her younger years and especially loved teaching Sunday School. When she wasn’t able to participate as much, she still held great friendships with her church family. Lorene also enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Lorene is preceded in death by her husband, Greeley Robertson; her son, Gary Robertson; and her parents, William and Docie Armstrong, and 2 grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Robertson Hohman and Nancy Berryessa. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, as well as host of other loving family members. A Graveside Service will take place for her family with her Pastor Bud Coffman officiating.

We Entrusted Lorene Robertson's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
