Earl Thomas Ingram, 75, of Salinas died February 14, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. Earl was born in Berkeley, CA and grew up in El Cerrito, CA. In 1963, the family relocated to Salinas. Earl graduated from North Salinas High School in 1964, and later from Hartnell College. In 1967, Earl married Diana Duty, a Salinas native. A musician since childhood, over the years Earl played trombone in high school and college as well as with Salinas Performing Arts, the Western Stage and the Watsonville Band. Earl is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter, Heather Mendoza; grandchildren, Ramon, Monica, Nicholas and Elizabeth; and his sister, Margaret Guthrie. A private family memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Monterey County SPCA, or any charity are requested.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
