Francisco Javier Vasquez Jr.
May 24th, 1965 - May 10th, 2022
Mr.Vasquez passed away suddenly on May 10,2022. He was born in Weslaco, Texas and lived his entire life in Salinas,Ca. Mr.Vasquez was in the car sales industry for over 35 years. Everyone who knew Frank knew him by his big smile, welcoming arms, his contagious laugh and the love he had for his family. Mr. Vasquez loved watching and attending 49er and Warrior game’s. He enjoyed bbqing, riding his motorcycle and loved taking his family and friends camping. Mr.Vasquez was a friend to all and loved by all who considered him family. Mr.Vasquez is survived by his wife Dolores Vasquez & his four children Francisco Javier Vasquez III(Victoria), Estevan Vasquez, Desiree Vasquez (David) and Daniel Vasquez his only grandson Luka Reyes and dog Marley. Along with his siblings Pablo Ortiz (Ludvina), Sabrina Duran (Adrian), Jose Ortiz (Gloria), Domingo Ortiz (Stephanie), Guadalupe Garza (Frank), Maria Hererra (Fernando), Rosa Rodriguez (Mago), Juan Vasquez (Sylvia), Cecilia Vasquez, Guillermina Vasquez, Martin Vasquez (Maria) Cecelia Vasquez (Jose) and Lucy Castro (Juan) and his countless nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco Javier Vasquez Sr and Maria Del Pilar Vasquez, his siblings Jose N. Ortiz and Cecilia Vasquez. Visitation will be held, Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 1 - 5 PM at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA A Rosary will be said at the Mortuary Chapel, Thursday at 4:00 PM. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held, Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Cristo Rey Church in Salinas. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
