Gabrielle "Gabby" Shafaun Venegas
April 30th, 1979 - April 6th, 2023
Gabrielle (Gabby) Venegas, 43, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 6th, 2023. Gabby was born in Salinas, California, on April 30th 1979. She graduated from North Salinas High School in 1997. Gabby was beautiful, kind, caring, strong and generous. Gabby was a florist, an incredible baker, an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She loved the beach and redwoods, but most of all she loved her family and friends. She gave kindness freely to those in need and was compassionate to what others felt and were going through. Her spirit was like no other. She always had so much love to give. Gabby is survived by her Husband Mac Venegas, daughter Jasmine Venegas, son Johnny Venegas, parents Ruben and Eileen Guzman, sister Virginia Loenberg, brother Jaime Guzman, and their family companions, Nikki, Brie, and Oreo. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her. Family and friends will celebrate a Funeral Mass on Friday, April 14, at 10 am in the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso Church, 320 East Laurel Drive, Salinas.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
