Conrado Ceja Barajas passed away on October 7, 2023 at the age of 86 in Salinas, California. Conrado was born on September 14, 1937 in La Tosca, Chavinda, Michoacán, México. He was an agricultural worker for 30 years. Conrado first came to the United States as a farm worker with the Bracero Program. He was a Salinas resident since 1976. Conrado loved to play cards and Lotería with his family. He also enjoyed gardening. He had a great loving heart for everyone. Conrado Ceja Barajas falleció el 7 de octubre de 2023 a la edad de 86 en Salinas, California. Conrado nació el 14 de septiembre de 1937 en La Tosca, Chavinda, Michoacán, México. Fue un trabajador agrícola durante 30 años. Conrado llegó por primera vez a los Estados Unidos como trabajador agrícola con el Programa Bracero. Fue residente de Salinas desde 1976. A Conrado le encantó jugar a las cartas y a la Lotería con su familia. También disfrutó de la jardinería. Tenía un gran corazón amoroso para todos. Conrado was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, and grandson. He is survived by his wife, sister, three daughters, son, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Parents/Padres: Juan Ceja (deceased) and Maria Del Refugio Barajas (deceased) Wife/Esposa: Juana Perez Perez de Ceja Siblings/Hermanos: Gonzalo (deceased), Leonor (deceased), Ruben (deceased), Isabel (deceased) and Guadalupe Daughters/Hijas: Maria Del Refugio Ceja (deceased), Silvia Maciel (Ignacio Maciel), María Elena Ceja, Carmen Gutiérrez (Martin Gutiérrez) Son/Hijo: Juan Ceja (Guadalupe Martinez Ceja) Grandchildren/Nietos: Ignacio Maciel Jr., Carmen Gutiérrez, Martin Gutiérrez Jr., Juan Maciel (deceased), Angelica Gutiérrez, Juan Manuel Gutiérrez, Silvia Maciel, Eduardo Maciel, Juan Ceja Jr., Rubí Patricia Ceja, Juan Diego Ceja. Great grandchildren/Bisnietos: Charisma Janae Gutiérrez, Julian James Maciel, Kaylee Marie Hernandez, Andres Eduardo Hernandez, Sophia Olivia Maciel, Shayla Rose Gutiérrez, Victoria Isabel Maciel, Martin Gutiérrez III, Nicolas Gutiérrez, Bella Rose Gutiérrez, Mateo Elias Tapia, Paris Mia Akpovi, Ignacio Alissandro Maciel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11th from 3pm-6pm. A Rosary will be prayed at 5pm at Healey Mortuary Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 12th at 10am at Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
