Lucia Marquez passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 83. She was born in Mexico on June 25, 1940 to Olegario Munoz and Fernanda Jimenez. A visitation will be Thursday, November 2nd from 12-6pm with a Rosary Prayer Service at 5pm at Healey Mortuary. Her Funeral will be Friday, Nov. 3rd at 10am at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Castroville, followed by burial at Castroville District Cemetery in Moss Landing.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
