Donald James Kreitzer, passed away on December 16, 2020, after suffering from Mesothelioma for over a year. Donald was born on September 7, 1943, to Josephine and Herbert Kreitzer in Sterling CO., where he lived until 1961. After a brief enlistment in the US Coast Guard in Alameda, CA, he moved to Hayward, CA, where he met his wife, Mary Agnes Woody. They were married on July 2, 1966, and spent 54 happy years together. Donald and Mary moved to San Jose, CA, in 1971, and lived there until 2011 when they retired and moved to Chico, where they were very happy. During his 40 years in San Jose, Don worked at Industrial Electric Mfg. in Fremont, CA, building electrical distribution equipment. Donald was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a man of integrity, had a beautiful smile, and love for everyone he met. Most importantly, he had a strong faith in and love for Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. Donald is survived by his wife Mary Agnes of Chico, his son Patrick Donald of Colorado Springs, CO, his daughter Erin Marie of Las Vegas, NV, his daughter Kari Lynn of Las Vegas, NV, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and by his mother Josephine Kreitzer, who still resides in Chico.
