RENE ALBERT VERCRUYSSEN Ren Albert Vercruyssen passed away in Chico California on April 20th, 2022. He experienced a heart attack while on his morning bike ride in Bidwell Park. Ren‚ passed later that day at Enloe Hospital due to complications of multiple injuries resulting from his fall, he was surrounded by his large and loving family. Ren‚ was 84 years young. Ren‚ is preceded in death by his parents Alphonse and Catherine, brother Mike, and son Richard. Ren‚ is survived by his wife Ethyle; brother Phil & wife Carole; children Ren‚, Chris, Daryl, Cheryl, Bethel, David, and Gina; grandchildren Jeffrey, Jamie, Jessika; Christopher, Tyler, Danielle, Summer, Joshua, and Faith; great-grandchildren Maxximus; Lynnlee; Lilleymae and Justus. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Chico.
